General Rental Conditions
Article 1 – Purpose and application of the General Rental Conditions
These General Rental Conditions aim to define the contractual relations between MAYANE COUTURE (known as “the Lessor ”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered with the Pontoise Commercial Court , under SIRET number 93539690300012 and the Tenant (known as “the Tenant ” , “the Client” or “you”).
By contracting with MAYANE COUTURE, you agree to be bound by and comply with all of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement.
Subject to applicable laws, the Lessor reserves the right to modify all or part of this agreement at any time without incurring any liability or obligation towards the Lessee . It is agreed that the applicable General Rental Conditions are those in force at the time of the contract.
Article 2 – Making an appointment
Before entering into a contract, the Tenant has the option of making an appointment on the website www.mayanecouture.com in order to be able to physically try on the dress(es) you want.
Once the appointment has been set, the Client agrees to come to the reserved time slot , and on time. In the event of a delay of more than 15 minutes, not justified in advance, the Lessor has the option of automatically canceling the appointment for failure to respect the set time , and if this causes dysfunctions in its organization.
Article 3 – Conditions required for renting
The Renter also has the option of expressly renting the desired dress(es) without making an appointment. To do this, he/she can rent one or more dresses on the website www.mayanecouture.com , by choosing the garment/accessory, the rental start date and the rental duration (minimum 3 days). This is also the case in the case of a remote rental.
The product subject to rental is defined precisely, or identified in the conditions below.
Article 3.1 - The contract
If the product is rented physically, following an appointment: a contract is duly completed and signed by the Renter beforehand.
The Lessor reserves the right to ask the customer to present certain documents (identity document, driving license, proof of address, etc. ) of which a copy may be kept .
Article 3.2 - Payment of the deposit and payment
To secure a reservation date for one or more dresses, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. This deposit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another dress.
In case of cancellation of the reservation After signing this contract, the deposit paid is not refundable, no reason is admissible.
The Renter agrees to rent the item at the price stated in the contract . The price includes fittings, dry cleaning and the rental itself.
The accepted payment methods are: cash, Paylib or Paypal transfer .
Article 3.3 - Definition of the rented product
A description of the condition of the item is made before rental, by both parties .
The item made available to the Tenant must be returned in the same condition in which it was entrusted. An inventory of the item was carried out before the conclusion of the Contract between the two parties.
The Tenant undertakes to maintain the dress in good condition, in compliance with the instructions and instructions communicated by the Lessor, to leave it in its protective cover when not being worn .
The Renter is prohibited from transferring, lending or subletting the dress without the prior written consent of the Lessor, at the risk of exposing himself to legal action.
Any use different from that expressed prior to the rental by the Tenant gives the Lessor the right to modify or terminate the rental contract.
Unless prior written agreement is given by the Lessor, the Tenant is prohibited from wearing the dress outside the context for which it was rented and declared by him .
The Lessor undertakes to return all accessories provided for rental (protective cover, hanger, belt, and jewelry) in their original condition. Any omission or damage will be subject to a penalty of €15.
In the case of a remote rental
All of the elements mentioned below are valid, in addition to:
The Lessor is responsible for shipping the item at least 72 hours before the event. Upon receipt of the latter, the The tenant has the duty to check its condition.
In the absence of a dispute within 24 hours of receipt of the item , it is considered to be compliant .

Article 3.4 - Security deposit
A security deposit (or “the Deposit” ) is required from the Tenant for the duration of the rental . It is collected and returned at the end of the rental period. The security deposit is a sine qua non condition of the rental; its absence invalidates the contract.
If the dress(es) rented by the Tenant are damaged (very dirty dress, stain difficult/impossible to clean , significant defects) and require repairs, a restoration fee will be charged and deducted from the Deposit .
If the defects found do not allow the dress to be rented again, The Lessor reserves the right to deduct the entire Deposit.
Article 3.5 - Duration of the rental
The duration of the rental is fixed by the conditions of this agreement.
The rental period is 48 hours. The dress(es) must be picked up on Friday at 6 p.m. and returned the following Sunday at 2 p.m.
Special conditions may apply regarding rental duration, provided that they are previously written by L e Lessor. In particular, he may modify the dates and times of collection and return of the rented product(s) as an exceptional measure.
If the rental period exceeds 48 hours, the Lessor reserves the right to ask the Tenant for a price higher than that previously fixed , proportional has the duration of the rental.
Any delay in returning the rental will be subject to a penalty of €20/hour.
In the case of a remote rental
The item must be dropped off at a post office the next day; any delay may result in a deduction from the deposit as compensation .
Article 3.6 - Provision
The dress(es) made available to the Tenant must be collected and returned to the following address: 31 boulevard Karl Marx, 95100 Argenteuil.
The Lessor does not travel to make available or collect the rented product to the Customer ; this is the responsibility of the Lessee.
